AYER KEROH, MELAKA - Launch Taqarrub Scheme II has been held in Hotel Seri Malaysia, Ayer Keroh. This ceremony was inaugurated by YB. Encik Yazed bin Thursday; Religious Affairs Affairs Committee Deputy Chairman Melaka State.
This Taqarrub Scheme II were continuity from Skim Taqarrub I that was launched on 26th of February 2010 that pass. This Taqarrub Scheme were a scheme where income zakat payment can be amortized through monthly salary deductions especially to private and government member that work earned remains at state of Malacca.
Participation may be made by making minimum deduction as much as RM10 only whether new deduction or additional deduction during campaign period take place that is for three(3) month starting from 5th of July to 5th of October, 2011.
Lucky winner through special draw that will be held after that campaign period will get special gift from PZM namely 6 main winner will get 1 Dinar Emas augmented with special voucher that are sponsored by sponsors. Consolation prize also also prepared. Prize - that voucher shaped special gift was contributed by Hotel Seri Malaysia, Ayer Keroh Country Resort, Permaisuri Hotel & Resort and Hotel Naza Talyya Melaka. While Melaka Taming Sari Bhd sponsor hamper shaped prize.
Salary deduction collection in year 2010 show increase as much as RM1,236,054.39 namely RM 9,202,254.88 compared in year 2009 namely amounted to RM 7,966,200.49. While number of payers on the other hand as many as 13,289 to year 2010 compared number of payers as many as 12,196 people for year 2009 namely increase as many as 1,093 people ( 8.96 %)
30th of June, 2011 on the other hand, PZM have successfully collected property tithe amounted to RM 14,369,848.31 compared year 2010 a sum RM 12,897,549.65 with increase as much as RM 1,472,298.66 (11.42 %). While number of payers on the other hand as many as 19,906 people compared year 2010 as many as 18,425 people with increase as many as 1,481 people namely 8.04 %
